Northern Arapaho Tribe offers condolences for COVID-19 deaths
The Northern Arapaho Business Council mourns the passing of two Tribal Members due to COVID-19.
The virus has claimed the life of an adult male who had been hospitalized in Riverton. Additionally, an Arapaho member who had moved to Montana previously has also passed due to COVID-19. The Tribe is not naming either individual out of respect for their families’ privacy.
Chairman Lee Spoonhunter offers his sincerest condolences on behalf of the NABC. The loss of these Members is felt by all of the Arapaho people.
“At a time when COVID-19 is spreading quickly in our community, we are once again reminded of its terrible toll,” Chairman Spoonhunter said. “We pray for the loved ones left behind and that our Creator watch over them. And we urge our fellow Arapaho people to be careful in protecting themselves and their families. This virus has taken too much from our Tribe already.”
