A total of 82 people have tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, according to data posted by the Kewa Pueblo Health Corporation on July 22, 2020.
Almost all of the COVID-19 results have led to recoveries, the corporation reported. And while the number of cases has risen over the last month, the rate of infection has not grown significantly at Kewa Pueblo, the data shows, as fewer than 3 percent of the tests have been positive.

About 2,400 people live at Kewa, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, though the state of New Mexico puts the population at more than 3,100. Based on data shared by the tribal health corporation, almost everyone in the community has been tested as of July 22.
Kewa is located in Sandoval County, where a large number of COVID-19 cases have been reported in two additional tribal communities. The Pueblo of San Felipe and the Pueblo of Zia have each seen more than 100 cases, according to the New Mexico Department of Health.
Kewa is about 40 miles north of downtown Albuquerque, the most populous city in New Mexico.
