Please join Indianz.Com for a live broadcast at 8pm Central on May 27, 2020. Hosts Kevin Abourezk and Leo Yankton will be discussing the police officer killing of George Floyd in Minnesota and the ongoing police violence committed against Native Americans.
The broadcast will feature several activists, including Michelle Free-LaMere (Winnebago), Dr. Colette M YellowRobe (Northern Cheyenne) and Pastor Janet Banks. Robert Pilot (Ho-Chunk), a radio show host who attended George Floyd protests in Minneapolis on May 26, will participate as well.
We also will be joined by Adrianne Plenty Holes, a Kiowa comedian and sister to Zachary Bear Heels, who died at the hands of police in Nebraska in 2017.
