In the Native Village of Tetlin, there are 50 family households facing urgent needs.
Because Tetlin is a remote Alaska Native Village with no grocery store within 30 miles and transportation of goods into the community hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic, Tetlin residents are now having a hard time obtaining essential cleaning supplies and dry goods, such as rice and flour.
Thanks to donations to the National Congress of American Indians’ COVID-19 Response Fund, this Alaska Native Village can now purchase supplies and goods to prepare and distribute household relief boxes to each household in the community.
These household relief boxes will improve the quality of life for residents during the pandemic, and they are only possible thanks to our generous donors to the COVID-19 Response Fund.
Donate today so that we may help more communities like Tetlin as they address the unprecedented challenge caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
These direct contributions are a lifeline to many across Indian Country, and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity.
