Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Announcement to All Tribal Enrolled Members

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe has been awarded its first share of funding under section 60I(a) of the Social Security Act, as added by section 5001 of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (-CARES Act”).
On May 11th, The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Council had approved an economic support program under the allowable allocation of funds guideline from the U.S. Treasury Department. the provision of economic support in connection with the COVID-19 public health emergency.
In doing so, the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Council has decided to disburse a portion of CARES Act funding in three increments of two thousand dollars to every Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Enrolled member 18 years of age and older as of May 110, 2020. The economic support program will fuumcially support enrolled members directly affected by the COVID- 19 pandemic and alleviate the hardships endured now and through the end of the threat of COVID-I 9. These funds will help support our members during these unprecedented times.
The remaining funds will be allocated to fund the best mitigation practices of COVID-19 to our Tribal membership, communities, and Govemment Administration services.
Eligibility
Tribal enrolled members must;
1. Be 18 years and older as of May 11th, 2020
2. Update all mailing and personal information with our enrollment department before May 22nd. 2020.
a. If not, payments will go to address on file.
b. If address is currently correct, there will be no need to change or update your address.
Distribution
1. All updated information must be in before May 22nd, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. in order to process payments in a timely manner.
2. All payments will be mailed to all of our eligible tribally enrolled members 18 years and older.
3.The three increment distribution dates will be as follows;
I. May 25th – 29th 2020
II. August 24th – 28th 2020
Ill. December 1st – 4th 2020
