The National Constitution Center will hold a panel discussion on McGirt v. Oklahoma on May 11, 2020.
The discussion is scheduled to start at 12pm Eastern. Participants can register for the webinar with the National Constitution Center or watch on C-SPAN.
At issue in the case is whether the state of Oklahoma can exercise jurisdiction over crime committed by Indian people within the boundaries of the reservation promised to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation by treaty.
