Tell Congress to Include Tribal Housing in Any New Stimulus Funding Package!
Right now, Congress is putting together a package to bolster the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
NAIHC has created this campaign to let Congress know the need for tribal housing to be included in any new stimulus funding package!
Funding Tribal Housing will help tribes combat COVID-19 by alleviating overcrowded homes and provide more housing options for health professionals in your communities.
Further, funding for tribal housing is integral to creating jobs and bolstering tribal and regional economies! Remind your members of Congress that the last time tribes received stimulus funding in 2009, tribes put that money to use to build nearly 2,000 new units and rehabilitated over 13,000 more units!
