AUGUST 29, 2000 The status of Ralph Nader and Winona LaDuke on the ballot in two states is in question, due to stolen signatures in Wyoming and a lack of them of South Dakota. The Green Party is reporting that someone walked away with a petition containing signatures necessary to appear on the ballot in Wyoming. The party turned in about 4,000 signatures on Monday and they need 2 percent, or 3,484 certified signatures, to qualify. The party missed the deadling in South Dakota. A lawsuit in the state is pending and a judge is scheduled to rule on the party's presence today. Get the Story:
