Two Minnesota counties have pulled out of a policing agreement with the White Earth Ojibwe Tribe.

Mahnomen and Clearwater counties said the tribal police were spending too much time making traffic stops than on doing community policing. The tribe says it has been responding to both issues.

The end of the agreement means that the tribe can't enforce criminal laws in the two counties on the reservation.
