Diva #5: Mona Infield, Computer Analyst, Bureau of Indian Affairs
A former web mistress and computer specialist at the BIA, this diva is more well known as the poster child for retaliation, intimidation, and abuse at everyone's favorite federal agency. No one blows whistles quite like Miss Mona!

Unlike our other DC Divas, Mona gets props for resisting a move to Beltway. As a result of her stubbornness, however, she has yet to step into a BIA office after more than a year of being assigned to "home duty."

But In the Hoop knows she is still receiving a paycheck every two weeks (direct deposit, of course), drawing an $80,000 yearly salary for doing nothing but "eating bon-bons and talking to the press" -- in the words of an Interior spokesperson who shall remain nameless.

As a result, you are more likely to see this diva kicking it at the Coronado Mall in Albuquerque than at the downtown office she once called her home -- the one which former Deputy Commissioner Hilda Manuel (Diva #3) and BIA Chief Information Officer Dom Nessi (Honorary Diva #2) locked her out of some time ago.

Luckily, this diva still has access to email, but since she can no longer tap into bia.gov, she's been forced to use a HoTMaiL address. The horror!

Diva Forecast: Secretary Gale Norton (Honorary Diva #3) is not going to take action on this diva anytime soon. Maybe she does not want her to blow any more whistles. In the meantime, look for more Infield in press about trust fund and a possible appearance before the Senate Indian Affairs Committee.
