Crazy Horse descendants receive gifts today

APRIL 26, 2001 The Stroh's beer company today will make a public apology and peace offering to descendants of Crazy Horse as part of its settlement over the disputed used of the Oglala leader's name on a liquor product. John W. Stroh III, chairman of SBC Holdings, will offer the descendants:
- 23 Pendleton blankets
- 23 blades of sweet grass
- 23 tobacco bundles
- seven horses
