Notah recuperating from back injury

APRIL 13, 2001 Isleta Pueblo / Navajo golfer Notah Begay III is back home in New Mexico to recuperate from a back injury but will still be able to participate in a benefit at Cochiti Pueblo next month, says his press agent. Begay's back problem is a recurring one and competed in the Masters preliminaries while hurt, said his father. He didn't make the final Masters cut. Begay is set to conduct a clinic at the Cochiti Pueblo golf course on May 4. He will have someone else conduct the clinic, says his press agent, but will attend the fund-raiser. Get the Story:
