After complaining that Democrats were trying to stack the deck against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Sen. Frank Murkowski (R-Alaska) is happy.

The Senate chose the members of a joint House-Senate conference committee to hammer out the final version of the controversial energy bill. Of the 17 Senate members, 9 have supported drilling.
