FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2002 Law enforcement authorities on Thursday raided a bingo hall purporting to operate on Apache-owned bingo hall in Oklahoma. The facility is on land owned by the Apache Tribe but not held in trust. The tribe said it never approved the bingo hall, which was operated by two members of the Apache business committee. Several people were arrested at the raid and some detained before being released. Get the Story:
