TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 2002

Two Kansas tribes are teaming up on a casino proposal.

The Sac and Fox Tribe and the Kickapoo Tribe said they want to talk with Gov. Bill Graves about a casino in northeastern Kansas. They said they are willing to share revenues with the state.

A similar partnership was proposed in 1994 among three tribes but it never moved forward.

The two tribes each have existing casinos.
