THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 2002 The Sacagawea golden dollar coins have proven popular with collectors but not with the public so the U.S. Mint is halting production. A special run of 10 million will be made for special interests. Otherwise, there are 324 million excess Sacagawea coins. Get the Story:
