States across the country are looking to gambling to increase revenue but ever the independent, Gov. Angus King of Maine is just saying no.

In response to a proposal by the Passamaquoddy Tribe to buy land in eastern Maine for a casino, he vetoed the bill. He now says he will do the same for a casino in the southern port of Kittery, where the tribe and the Penobscot Nation are hoping to land.

The two tribes on Monday are presenting a "State of the Tribes" address to to the Legislature.
