Mohegan hotel seeing bustle

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6, 2002 It's not scheduled to open for another month, but the new hotel and convention center at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut is bracing for a whole lot of business. Groups are already booking a year in advance for the 1,200-room hotel and 100,000-square-foot center. The facility is part of a $1.1 billion expansion the Mohegan Tribe is undertaking. The hotel is set to open April 23 with a little more than half the rooms available. Get the Story:
