An anti-gaming group seeking to halt the expansion of casinos and the lottery in New York will ask a state judge to temporarily halt approval of compacts with tribes.

The group will file a preliminary injunction in its suit to stop all new gaming. An injunction would stop finalizing compact negotiations for six casinos.

The Seneca Nation is set to open three while other tribes are vying for casinos in the Catskills.
