TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2001 Casino audits tribes provide to the state must be made public, the Minnesota Attorney General has decided. Tribes and Charlie Weaver, commissioner of public safety, are opposing making the audits public. Weaver says the reporting process would be hindered if the data were made available. A number of media organizations have sought to get copies of the audits. They contain a wide variety of information, including profits, revenues, salaries and expenses. Get the Story:
