Ho-Chunk Inc. finalist in awards program

THURSDAY, AUGUST 30, 2001 Ho-Chunk Inc., the economic development corporation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, is one of 15 finalists in a national awards program that recognizes excellence in American government. The $50 million corporation was chosen by the Innovations in American Government Award, a program of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. The designation comes with a $20,000 grant. A $100,000 prize awaits the corporation, headed by CEO Lance Morgan, should it make the cut to the final five. The announcement will be made October 18.
