Woman pleads guilty for drug sale

TUESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2002 A woman on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana pleaded guilty in federal court on Monday to two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Olene New sold the drug to an undercover agent on two occasions, said authorities. She will remain free until sentencing on April 3. Authorities last year broke up a methamphetamine ring on the reservation. In other federal court action, Francis George Old Dwarf was charged last week with aiding and abetting in an assault resulting in serious bodily injury. Old Dwarf allegedly attacked Loy Matthew Bryant at a home in Lame Deer on the reservation. Get the Story:
