The off-again, on-again search for an elusive map of the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation in Connecticut is on again.

The leaders from the towns of Ledyard, North Stonington and Preston sent a letter to their congressional delegation, seeking assistance in locating an original copy of the map used in the law which settled the tribe's land claims. So far, only copies of the map have turned up.

The town leaders believe the original is key to their claims that the tribe was granted a reservation greater than what Congress intended, or was led to believe.
