No cause yet on Mescalero fire

THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2002 The Bureau of Indian Affairs hasn't assigned a cause to a recent fire on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in southern New Mexico. The 10-acre fire was under control as of yesterday. Some residents were evacuated but no damage or injuries were reported. The reservation has seen a rash of fires lately. Get the Story:
