A University of Tulsa student has completed a study of homes in the Tar Creek Superfund area.

Micah Burch, a pre-med student, found homes heavily contaminated with a toxic mold. The Daily Oklahoman does not report how many of the 18 homes were affected.

Tar Creek is the most expensive Superfund site. It is a former mining area in northeastern Oklahoma affecting a large amount of Quapaw-owned lands.
