TUESDAY, MARCH 26, 2002 A 16,400-acre fire on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in New Mexico is 75 percent contained as of Monday night. The fire has destroyed one home. It is believed to be caused by humans. The fire is one in the southern New Mexico area that has burned in recent days. The most destructive to homes, the Kokopelli Fire, was declared 100 percent contained yesterday. Get the Story:
