Exxon Valdez health complaints probed

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2001 Erin Brockovich, made famous by the movie of the same name, is taking part in an investigation of health problems by workers who helped clean up after the 11 million-gallon Exxon Valdez oil spill of 1989. Brockovich's law firm is helping an Alaska attorney with the complaints. According to workers, they suffered health problems but were told by Exxon and another company that the ailments were not caused by the cleanup. Get the Story:
