With President Bush pushing for the creation of more nuclear power plants the question of where to store their waste is becoming of increased concern.

The Department of Energy this year is slated to recommend whether or not the Yucca Mountain site in Nevada will be the national repository for the highly radioactive waste. State officials, lawmakers, and numerous tribes in the are oppose the project.
