More waste cited at nuclear site

NOVEMBER 3, 2000 Yet another government report is citing waste at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Washington. This time, its wasted time. A preliminary audit written by the Defense Contract Audit Agency and obtained by the Tri-City Herald says that employees at the site who were supposed to be involved in clean up wasted 21 percent of their time last summer doing something else. Employees who wasted time were said to be found sleeping, surfing the Internet, and watching television, among other activities. Get the Story:
