'Fighting Sioux' protest planned

FEBRUARY 22, 2001 Two University of North Dakota organizations on Friday will march in mock funeral procession to the site of the the $85 million hockey arena benefactor Ralph Engelstad threatened to let rot if the school got rid of its "Fighting Sioux" nickname. BRIDGES and the Campus Committee for Human Rights have organized the event. ESPN plans to cover the protest. Get the Story:
