APRIL 24, 2001 An independent movie called "Skins" begins shooting today on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and nearby locations in Nebraska. The movie tells the story of two brothers, one a tribal police officer and the other an alcoholic. It features Graham Green and Adam Beech and is directed by Chris Eyre of "Smoke Signals" fame. Beer establishment owners in Whiteclay, Nebraska, turned down requests by movie makers to shoot their businesses. Get the Story:
