Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski won't appeal a ruling that affirmed the Department of Interior's decision to take land into trust for the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians.

The 98-acre tract was taken into trust for the tribe to open a casino. It is considered "restored" lands because the tribe's federal status was restored through legislation.
