Members of the Skull Valley Goshute Tribe of Utah are asking a federal court to halt what they call unfair persecution by tribal leaders.

The members oppose chairman Leon Bear, his allies and the tribe's push to store nuclear waste on the reservation. They say Bear and his allies are trying to prosecute them for alleged treason.

A tribal attorney says there are no charges filed against the dissidents.
