The Red Lake Nation of Minnesota is combating alcohol and drug abuse through a prevention program that includes a focus on tribal culture.

The Indian and Drug Free Prevention program tries to keep young people occupied through activities like basketball and fishing. The tribe also brings elders and families together for cultural traditions like sugaring, harvesting and fasting ceremonies.
