WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2003 Legislation was introduced in New Zealand to settle claims over the Treaty of Waitangi. The bill includes a formal apology to the Ngati Tama Tribe for breaching the treaty. It includes a $14.5 million payment. Get the Story:
