Wash. tribe to open first methadone clinic in county

THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 2003 The Stillaguamish Tribe of Washington plans to open a methadone clinic to treat heroin addicts in mid-July, The Everett Herald reports. The treatment facility would be the first in the county. Two proposals elsewhere have stalled due to public opposition but the tribe is opening its clinic on trust land. Get the Story:
