New gaming compacts with 10 tribes in Wisconsin will be finalized in the coming weeks, a state official said.

The state has already signed an agreement with the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe. After a 45-day review, the Department of Interior neither approved it nor denied it. It is considered "deemed approved" by federal law.

The new deals all require the tribes to contribute more money to the state in exchange for expanded gaming.
