WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2, 2003

The Minnesota Court of Appeals on Tuesday ruled that most of the information in tribal casino audits must be made public.

Reversing a lower court, a three-judge panel rejected claims by several tribes that the data, which is supplied to the state, is private. The case was returned to a lower court to determine what information should be redacted.

Members of the media have been seeking to obtain the information.
