Nev. tribe gets wetlands grant from EPA

TUESDAY, APRIL 1, 2003 The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe of Nevada has been awarded an Environmental Protection Agency grant to restore wetlands on the reservation. The grant, nearly $70,000, will allow the tribe to evaluate the overall health of the wetlands for the Lower Truckee River and help restoration efforts. Get the Story:
