Calif. tribes cited as threat to Nev. casinos

THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2003 The addition of more than 5,000 slot machines at tribal casinos in California will have a "devastating" impact on casinos in Reno, Nevada, according to a new report cited by The Las Vegas Review-Journal. Several new tribal casinos will be coming on-line soon. Each facility is allowed up to 2,000 slot machines but this limit is subject to renegotiation. Get the Story:
