Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin are drafting a new bill that would put a time-limit on new tribal casino compacts.

Gov. Jim Doyle (D) has come under fire for approving two agreements with open-ended terms. A member of his administration defended the arrangement, saying they allow for renegotiation after 25 years. But Republicans want them to expire.
