Wis. Republicans plan another gaming measure

Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature plan to introduce another measure aimed at providing more oversight of Indian gaming compacts.

GOP lawmakers have been upset that Gov. Jim Doyle, a Democrat, negotiated two new agreements. They passed a bill to strip him of that power, which he vetoed. An attempt to override failed on Tuesday.
