Bid to rename N.D. reservation bridge killed

THURSDAY, MARCH 6, 2003 The North Dakota Senate voted down a bill to rename the Four Bears Bridge on the Fort Berthold Reservation. The bridge is named for Mandan and Hidatsa chiefs. The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation opposed changing it to the Medal of Honor Bridge. Get the Story:
