The California Wilderness Coalition named the Klamath Basin to its 10 most threatened wild places list.

Last fall's massive fishkill prompted the addition. More than 30,000 salmon died in the Klamath River for as yet unknown causes, although tribes blame poor water management policies of the Bush administration.
