A judge in Alaska won't force the father of a man accused of raping and murdering an Alaska Native woman to testify.

Gregory "Bubba" Wade allegedly heard a confession from Joshua Wade. The father allegedly admonished his son for possibly leaving evidence at the crime scene.

The prosecution may call Joshua Wade's grandmother to the stand, who allegedly heard the story of the confession from Gregory Wade.
