Another Wis. tribe working on gaming deal

The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin is finalizing a new casino compact with Governor Jim Doyle (D), the Associated Press reports.

A spokesperson for the tribe said an agreement is "close." The tribe says it opposes attempts by state lawmakers to strip Doyle of his power to negotiate the compacts.
