Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle (D) has reached a new gaming agreement with the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe.

The tribe would be allowed to expand its operation by offering additional Class III games and be open around the clock. Like a similar deal the state reached with the Oneida Nation, the proposed compact term is indefinite.

In exchange, the tribe is agreeing to pay an extra $78 million over the next two years to the state to help patch up the state's budget shortfall.
