Pueblo's water usage at issue in court case

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2003 The state of New Mexico and Pojoaque Pueblo continue to battle over the tribe's water usage. The state is asking a federal judge to limit the tribe's current and future usage. The tribe counters that the state hasn't shown how it will be harmed. A federal magistrate has recommended that the state's request for a preliminary injunction be denied. The tribe's water rights are the subject of a long-running case. Get the Story:
