Tribal college to receive $20 000 award

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2003 The Crownpoint Institute of Technology on the Navajo Nation will receive a $20,000 award from the Department of Agriculture. The National Centers for Excellence award will allow the college to expand economic and employment opportunities for the local community. Eight colleges nationwide are part of a rural development program at the USDA. Get the Story:
