The trial of a man accused of raping and murdering an Alaska Native woman continued on Tuesday but without one of the 15 jurors, The Anchorage Daily News reported.

No explanation was provided for the missing juror, the paper said. It may not have mattered all that much, as testimony lasted for less than two hours while attorneys argued behind closed doors about various motions.

Joshua Wade is accused of killing Della Brown in late August-early September of 2000.
